Santa Fe 2015The work of the “Four People” continued in September with an invitation by Jeffrey Bronfman and John Stokes (from the Tracking project) to come to New Mexico and participate in a series of gatherings.

The Four Peoples of The Earth (as they call themselves) live in La Sierra Nevada’s de Santa Marta, Columbia, South America. This area is referred to as, “The Heart of The World”. The four tribes (Kogi, Wiwa, Kunkuamo, and Arhuaco),  have lived in continuity with “life’s originating principles” that have been sustaining to our Mother Earth since its origin. 

The Four Peoples way of life and culture have been virtually untouched by the modern world. Their responsibility over tens of thousands of years, as they believe, has been to keep the earth in balance through communication with Mother Earth herself. They aspire to do this important work throughout the day, in service to "The Mother" and in service to all of humanity. 

The Four Peoples have two processes they want to achieve by bringing their message to the outside world: the restoration of Mother Earth and the reunification of humanity. 

For the past 50 years, they have observed significant environmental changes in the Heart of the World (their tribal home), and they have seen directly the effects of global warming in the 17,000-foot mountains in the remote region in which they live.  

The work of the Four People continued most recently with an invitation by Jeffrey Brofman and John Stokes from the Tracking project to come to New Mexico. A series of gatherings took place September 7-9 of this year. 

The profound wisdom of the Four Peoples, as it relates to the seeds (a topic that the elders of these tribes consider to be of vital importance at this time) was expressed in a message by tribal elder Mamo Palia, which was transmitted on  syndicated radio program, treating themes of Global Transformation, which originates in Santa Fe.

As stewards of the earth, and in alignment with our New Enchantment mission and principles recognizing the essential spiritual significance of the preservation of nature, we are being called further to live in a sustainable way.
